Everest Poker Review

Software:  Everest Poker was one of the first (if not THE first) multilingual poker room. Their software is available in English, French, Japanese, German, Italian, Portuguese, Norwegian, Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Spanish and a host of others. They are definitely trying to cater to the worldwide population, rather than just the English audience. The software runs very smoothly with very little to no lag.  The site has a great poker tutorial feature for new players. This feature is incorporated within their downloadable software and is of great help to newbies within the poker scene.  The graphics were about average as compared to other poker sites, but there were some other features which improved the playing experience. These include, but are not limited to: A playing statistics function, table rotation function (you can position your player in front of you at all times), percentage of players seeing the flop, hands played per hour, average pot size, etc... You can play up to four tables at the same time.

Game Selection: Unfortunately, the only game available is Texas Hold’em and variations thereof (pot-limit, no-limit, limit, heads-up and tournaments).

Rake:  The Rake at Everest Poker is quite low as compared to other poker sites (big bonus for the player…more money in your pocket!)

Player Traffic:  There are not too many players at any one time on the site (~ 2500 players). However, the traffic is expected to grow in the coming year.

Competition:  The competition is fairly soft at Everest Poker compared to most no-limit games online.

Bonuses and Promotions:  Everest Poker offers a "Refer-a-Friend" bonus of $50 to the referrer and a $100 Welcome bonus for opening a new account with them.

Loyalty Program: Everest Poker has a bonus program that rewards you for every raked dollar. For every dollar in the rake, Everest Poker gives everyone at the table one 'summit' point. The first two players at the table earn double Summit Points for their entire session at the table. Tournament players earn 8 Summit Points for every $1 in tournament entry fees, both single and multi-table, with no limit on how many Summit Points you can earn per tournament.

Deposit and Withdrawal:  Everest Poker offers numerous deposit and withdrawal options including:

  • Deposit:  NETeller, Visa, MasterCard, bank draft and ECO (French, Spanish, German, and Greek), and 1PAY. European players have numerous other methods.
  • Withdrawal: NETeller and bank transfer

Cashout speed:  I had no problem whatsoever cashing out. It only took 24 hours to receive my funds via a NETeller cashout

Support:  Everest Poker's support staff were friendly and knowledgeable, however, their only method of contact is via e-mail (no telephone contact whatsoever).
